As an appointed 'Service Partner' for iLevel™ Trus Joist®, we provide everything you need for floor and roof joist installations, using leading edge products and techniques for the very best performance. We design and supply joists for a variety of building projects, from the self-build home through to residential developments and large commercial projects.
As the world’s largest manufacturer of
engineered wood products, iLevel™ Trus Joist®
has applied patented technologies to convert
natural wood fibre into high performance floor,
roof and wall solutions. High quality structural
products up to 15 metres in length provide unequalled flexibility and easier installation.
By combining the natural advantages of wood
fibre with ‘man made’ engineering
performance, iLevel™ Trus Joist® products are
providing innovative solutions in buildings. iLevel™ Trus Joist®
manufactures TJI® joists, Parallam® PSL and TimberStrand® LSL. TJI® joists reduce the
problems associated with shrinking, cupping,
bowing, twisting and splitting common with
sawn joists.
Parallam® PSL offers a high-strength
engineered timber product, bringing together
both uniformity and consistency in a wide
variety of sizes and lengths. TimberStrand®
LSL is precision-cut into standard section
components including short and intermediate
span beams, lintels, purlins and rim boards.
iLevel™ Trus Joist®’s Spatial Roof™ system is a
safer, simpler and quicker way to build attic
roofs, creating more habitable space at a
competitive overall build cost. It uses the
advantages of a cut roof solution with the
speed and flexibility of a trussed rafter
structure to give design flexibility by increasing
the available volume by around 15% and the
habitable space by around 10%.
We now offer iLevel™ Trus Joist®’s new range
of 220 TJI® joists. The range is ideal for
those wishing to switch to a highperformance
engineered joist system from
225mm deep regularised timber.
The 220mm joists have been designed as a
direct replacement for solid sawn timber
sizes and offer the added benefit of
removing the insulation required to gain
compliance with Part E sound regulations.
The 220 TJI® joist also provides a more
cost-effective way of complying with Part E
(sound) of the Building Regulations for
intermediate floors, as no insulation is
required when it is installed at 400mm
centres and above.
Whatever size company you are part of, be it
a large main contracting company or a sole
trader, the new Part L Building Regs affect
you. Since air leakage is a major cause of
failure to comply, iLevel™ Trus Joist®’s new Energy Stop product is a useful tool in the
battle to ensure compliance. The Energy
Stop is an easier to use option than masonry
hangers. Designed for use in conjunction with the TJI® joist, the Energy Stop utilises a
foam section at the end of the joist as an
efficient means of helping to prevent air
leakage when installed correctly. |
