For both residential and commercial building projects, large or small, our experienced and dedicated team of designers provide advice from the initial design stage right through to material selection, delivery, installation and decoration.

Each staircase is made to measure; we work from customers’ sketches and ideas, or architect-drawn plans, developing the design to our customers’ requirements, with site visits to check measurements where necessary. From the simple to the very special, our skilled craftsman produce stunning bespoke staircases, which can make a dramatic statement in an individual home, or create the right ambience in a commercial setting.

We utilise the latest CNC manufacturing facilities linked directly to our CAD software, ensuring accurate and efficient production. We offer a full installation service which ensures continuity and quality; as an alternative we deliver the staircase with full instructions and fixing kit for customer installation.

Staircases are often the focal point of your home and one of the most important architectural features to be fitted. From the outset, we pay close attention to detail to ensure that the staircase fits its surroundings and meets your aspirations whilst working within your budget. We recognise that every staircase is unique and personal and our experienced and dedicated design team can advise you on the best solutions to make your staircase become a reality.

Timber Stair with Glass And Steel Balustrade
Click for gallery

This contemporary timber and glass staircase was designed to sit in the light well with ease and consideration for the amazing views through the full height window. Steels are concealed between the double section string removing the need for structural newels. The steel reflects and shines in the light whilst using glass allows the hall to fill with light rather than being obscured by balustrades and spindles. The continuous timber handrail gives a lovely natural balance and allows the staircase to sit harmoniously against the rest of the houses’ fit out.

Traditional Oak Staircase

This traditional staircase was built for a private dwelling featuring a large reception area, hence the staircase and gallery had to fit the grandeur of the entrance. Featuring a double curtail set detail, this oak T-shaped stair is complimented by a deep red carpet and brass fixings. The balustrade features a large section handrail, fluted newel posts and alternating fluted and non-fluted turned spindles. The staircase is finished with a cut string detail that brings together the traditional style that sits comfortably with the style of the house.

Regal Staircase

This regal staircase features a curved string that opens to the reception with a curtail step. With beautifully simple details like the tread protruding over the string and the painted steel balustrade posts that look like wrought iron from a time gone by, make this stair fit its setting and deliver that regal style. The contrasting painted finish of the stair with the stained mahogany handrails are offset by the black balustrade spindles. Finished with carpet and stair rods this is truly a modern day classic.

Timber stair with metal spindles

Designed to sit against the large two story window this stair features stainless steel balustrade spindles to minimize their effect on the natural light flowing through the window. These clean and light balustrade spindles are contrasting against the heavy section treads and newel spindles. Featuring a split mono string configuration and open riser detail ensures that the staircase is paired back to its structure. This modern staircases’ beauty lies in its necessity to be open and allow light to pass through whilst fitting the style and decor of the house and conforming to todays building regulations.
